A VIRTUAL COMMUNITY FORUM
Identified by the Blue Ribbon Commission as a key strategy to advance equity in state services for Minnesota's older adults and individuals living with disabilities, the Minnesota Department of Human Services has been leading work to understand and help close racial and ethnic disparities in home and community-based services.
On June 17, we invited a community conversation to learn more about the initial findings and to help shape the next phases of this multi-phase assessment project. With over 400 registered and 300 attending, it was a day filled with a rich exchange of information.

Three of the CAB members will share about the group assembled from across the state representing various Tribal Nations and diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds. This was a convening of community members from around Minnesota! Every participant had an opportunity to volunteer insights, pose questions and share wisdom to advance our journey.
